Headlight, together with our teams from Bath & North East Somerset, created a unique campaign this Mental Health Awareness Week. Making and crafting has a therapeutic role for many people suffering mental health problems. We offered a free workshop to our service users to get creative at The Makery and we had lots of fun making bath bombs, artworks and sewing projects.
We were kindly offered a shop premises on New Bond Street Place in Bath by B&NES Council, where we opened a pop-up shop from 24-27 May. We used this as an outlet to sell the beautiful items made by service users, carers and staff.
The campaign successfully raised money for Headlight, whilst raising awareness of our new charity!
