Our mission is simple: to make life better for people facing mental health problems.
By working alongside Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, we're uniquely placed to find ways to help when people are going through tough times.
We do this by providing money for projects that wouldn't otherwise be possible from NHS funding. The brilliant ideas and passion come from Trust staff, and we're here to help make it a reality. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we're able to go above and beyond to enhance patients' experiences, support their recovery and raise awareness of mental health across our communities.
In creating our strategic aims, we were guided by our patients, their carers and families and our staff. They are our guiding principles.
Every project that we support meets at least one of our strategic aims, and usually more than one.
Whether a "project" is a new item of equipment, a hobby group or awareness event, the one thing all of our work shares is the potential to improve the mental health of our patients and communities. How they demonstrate this is by achieving our aims; the standard by which we measure our impact.
Our past projects give some great examples of how these strategic aims have been put into practice.
